Jacob Evans

Jacob Evans was born in 1986 in East London.Growing up, his goal had been to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a mechanical engineer, but it wasn’t until high school that he realized he hadn’t fully inherited his father’s passion for tinkering around with machines.

As if to answer his newly discovered lack of purpose, Jacob began to play online casinos while he was in university, in part because he found it fun and in part because he hoped to find a source of income - which he eventually did, even if in an unexpected way.

A few months after he started playing (around 2005), Jacob saw an ad for a now-defunct online casino looking for croupiers for what was considered at the time a revolutionary idea - live casinos. He interviewed for the position and was quickly hired, spending the next six years as a croupier for live casino games.

It was during this time that Jacob met his current girlfriend Freya, and, after a few years, they both decided they were ready for a new adventure. As such, Jacob quit his live casino job and decided to move to Birmingham with her, where he worked a variety of jobs, mostly as a writer for various online publications (some casino-related, most not).

It wasn’t until the late 2010s that he and a few fellow authors decided to start dreaming up their own casino website, one where they could help out gamblers around the world just like how so many years ago Jacob himself had been helped by the early online casino websites. That idea, eventually, grew into Casino.online - and the rest is history!
