He shares candid insights on player feedback, social engagement, and why PoggiPlay is willing to experiment while staying true to its identity.

Interview with Nikita Kiselev: How Quick-Win Gameplay Is Shaping PoggiPlay

PoggiPlay is riding the wave of fast-paced iGaming with titles like Indiana Mines and Chicken Run. In this exclusive interview, PR Manager Nikita Kiselev shares how quick-win gameplay is reshaping the brand’s future, boosting engagement, and attracting a new generation of players—while still staying true to PoggiPlay’s storytelling roots.

Racing Ahead: How Fast Games Are Driving PoggiPlay’s Growth

Joshua: How has PoggiPlay’s focus on developing faster-paced games like Indiana Mines and Chicken Run shaped your brand’s trajectory this year?

Nikita: Modern players, especially the younger generation, value speed, interactivity, and instant rewards. As a brand that claims to be on the same page with emerging trends, we just can’t ignore the fast games trend.

With games like Indiana Mines and Chicken Run, we're not only offering variety to our regular players but also meeting the demand for dynamic gameplay from new users.

The launch of these games has helped us attract newer audiences, which is confirmed by our GGR growth and other metrics’ increase. Of course, we’re considering more and more fast game ideas, but the core of our brand is still making slot games...

Only time will show if the fast games trend is strong enough to become a major part of our pipeline. Anyways, what I'm 100% sure about is that PoggiPlay will keep delivering amazing stories through every action on screen, be it a spin or a withdraw button.

The Spark Behind PoggiPlay’s Fast Game Rush

Joshua: What sparked the decision to increase production of fast games, and how do you see this aligning with current market trends?

Nikita: A thorough market analysis over the years has confirmed our observations: interactive and fast-paced formats are increasingly winning over the audience. This is not surprising, given the overall trend has been shaping for around 5 years already.

It’s just us as a young company finding just the right means now to join the fast game rush without harming our internal processes.

Players are looking for short and adventurous sessions they can enjoy on the go, and this fits perfectly with our approach. I’m glad we can now deliver fast games more frequently.

By focusing on such gaming, where instant wins are leading the way, we aim to join the forefront of this movement with our adaptive design and mechanics. We did this with slots, proving there’s no mechanic or design we can’t do, now it’s time to try the fast games waters.

Fast Games vs. Slots: Understanding Player Engagement

Joshua: How do player engagement and retention differ between fast games and traditional formats, in your experience?

Nikita: The difference is very noticeable. Slots generally produce more spins per session with less engaged sessions as such over the lifetime.

Fast games have higher engagement while having shorter sessions and less spins, obviously, given the nature of fast games themselves. Players return more often, which can also be used for helping the brand as a whole with additional promo stimuli.

With their progression elements and short "play-reward" cycles, fast games create a stronger sense of accomplishment, which leads to better player retention. Like short episodes of a series in the modern world, as opposed to a full-length movie.

Listening to Players: How Feedback Fuels Innovation

Joshua: In what ways does PoggiPlay gather feedback to stay adaptive in an ever-evolving gaming landscape?

Nikita: First, we analyze behavioral data to understand how players interact with our games.

Second, we are active on social media. It's not uncommon for players to send us direct messages with suggestions for improving certain aspects of our games.

Third, we respond quickly if an operator or aggregator sends us any type of report.

Our flexible development system allows us to rapidly adapt our projects by making the necessary changes and adding new features to ensure our games always remain relevant and engaging.

Marketing at Full Speed: Showcasing Fast Wins

Joshua: Has the demand for quick games influenced your marketing approach, and if so, how?

Nikita: Slightly influenced. It's not that our marketing isn't flexible. It's just that our initial approach already included almost everything needed to promote fast games.

This includes showcasing the unique features of our games, actively using short videos, posts with in-depth game lore, and native advertising. For promoting fast games specifically, we emphasize the game's potential for quick wins.

The Road Ahead: Fast Games in the Future of iGaming

Joshua: How do you predict the trend toward fast games will evolve across the iGaming sector in the next two years?

Nikita: Without a doubt, the trend toward fast games will only accelerate. We'll see even greater integration of mechanics from video games, such as RPG elements, quests, and social features.

We’re already seeing these on the market and thinking of what we can offer in this regard. We’ve all been discussing gamification for several years now, and we are also continuing to work on developing our games to be more diverse and versatile.

Additionally, fast games will likely become even more personalized thanks to AI, which will probably find a way to adapt the gameplay to each player's preferences. Not changing RTP on the go, of course, but switching volatility presets based on the player’s style - why not?

We also expect a rise in the popularity of competitive elements, such as tournaments and leaderboards, which will further enhance engagement. From what I see, people are less and less “ashamed” to be known for responsible gaming now, so even more reasons to get social.

Playing Together: The Social Side of Fast Games

Joshua: How do you see the role of community and social play in the realm of fast games?

Nikita: The role of the community is critically important. Fast games, by their nature, are more natural for social interaction. Players share their achievements, challenge other users, and compete with each other right here, right now.

On our social media, we constantly share players' most exciting achievements. This not only creates a strong sense of belonging and boosts retention. It turns the game from an individual pastime into a shared experience, making it more valuable and long-lasting for players.

Shaping Tomorrow: PoggiPlay’s Bold Vision for 2025

Joshua: What excites you most about PoggiPlay’s direction as a dynamic, flexible provider in 2025?

Nikita: What inspires me most is our team's ability to not just follow trends but to tune them, showing new approaches to the seemingly obvious, all while maintaining PoggiPlay's recognizable and unique style.

We're not afraid to experiment. Visual style, soundtracks, naming, mechanics, maths… Our flexibility allows us to react quickly to market changes and player needs, which gives us a significant advantage.

We're a compact team of gamers ourselves, not needing months of corporate approvals to make a U-turn in case we need one. We believe we can leave our footprint in the iGaming industry by making it even more engaging and player-focused.

Defining Success: Beyond Numbers to Lasting Impact

Joshua: How do you personally define success for PoggiPlay in a market that’s moving forward at lightning speed?

Nikita: For me, PoggiPlay's success doesn’t just lie in the financial metrics, though they are important. Above all, it's about the recognition from players and partners.

When our game becomes a favorite for a huge number of people worldwide. When we see that our specific approach and attention to detail are valued. When we build trusting relationships with our partners and consistently exceed their expectations.

Ultimately, creating a brand that is associated with quality, a high level of visual design, and an unforgettable gaming experience.

Being the constant in the world of changing trends. That is success.

Because, after all, fast games will be gone too, making room for something even bigger. And PoggiPlay will be there, ready to create, as always. 💙
