Bringing the Best of LA to the UK
The television ad sees the award-winning entertainer travel from the Bellagio Fountains to the Thames in a gold speedboat. This imagery forms part of BetMGM’s aim to bring the best of the Las Vegas strip to the UK. That’s one way to increase your online casino presence!
“We know how to put on a show,” the comedian says, as he is joined on the gold boat by a lion, adding to the extravagant display. “We’re here in the UK to make every game an occasion.”
The underlying goal of the campaign is to introduce the brand to the UK public and build up recognition. At the same time, the campaign highlights the concept of BetMGM’s “golden offers” and casino bonuses for players everywhere.
An Ad Campaign Made in London
BetMGM’s campaign was created in collaboration with an independent advertising agency from London, called Recipe. The company’s COO, Dan Jacobs, described it as a “real privilege” to assist with the BetMGM UK launch.
Sam Behar, the BetMGM UK director, explained that the campaign successfully draws upon the heritage and equity that MGM Resorts has established through its entertainment offerings in Las Vegas. “This campaign clearly demonstrates BetMGM’s commitment to bringing a fresh and entertaining approach to the market,” he added.
Other components of the advertising campaign will draw attention to specific features of BetMGM’s UK offering. These include price boosts and the free-to-play “Golden Goals” Premier League score prediction game.
