Interested parties are invited to provide their feedback on the updated requirements before they are finalized. Comments can be submitted via the DGA’s contact form by Monday, June 10, 2024. The DGA plans to implement these new requirements in 2025, though the exact date remains undecided. Details regarding a potential transition period will be provided when the final requirements are issued.

Key Changes in Reporting Requirements

The updated requirements include several significant changes and additions:

Linguistic Adjustments and Guidance Texts

  • Various linguistic adjustments have been made to the existing requirements.
  • Additional guidance texts have been added or modified to enhance understanding.

New reporting requirements

Bets on fixed odds must now be reported as independent transactions. The requirements for reporting on odds for betting have been added, and event information reporting now includes a list with country codes and sports. Specific requirements for reporting partially closed bets and Spreadbetting have been introduced, along with clarifications on reporting for the betting exchange/BetExchange.

The exception for SpillerInformationIdentifikation in land-based betting has been removed due to the new Player ID requirement. New reporting requirements for RNG used in Virtual Fixed Odds have been added. Casino sessions cannot be interrupted in the middle of a move, with a clear definition of “a move” provided.

Clarifications on different poker types and their reporting methods have been included, along with new requirements for win lists in poker tournaments and manager games. The downscaling of pool games has been clarified, and new requirements for providing test data for Jackpots have been introduced. Additionally, there are clarifications on handling changes to reported data, including the distinction between game result changes and error reporting corrections.
